Educational tour “The Grain’s Journey”
We welcome school and adult groups to Grauda Spēks in Jelgava. During the tour, you will learn how flour and bakery products are made, and each participant can bake their own breakfast rolls.
- Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
- Location: Birzes iela 2, Jelgava
- Usual availability: Monday mornings, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

For activities supported by the STEAM programme
In the 2026/2027 school year, the minimum group size is 15 participants and the maximum is 30. The fee is €7 per participant.
When placing your order, enter the number of participants, use discount code STEAM and choose invoice payment. The code gives a 100% discount at the time of ordering. After the tour, an adjusted invoice is issued to the municipality based on the actual number of participants.
The visit, organised under project No. 4.2.2.1/1/25/I/001, “STEM and civic participation activities for broader educational experience and career choices”, for the partner educational institutions of the State Education Development Agency, is funded by the European Social Fund Plus and the Latvian state.

For other groups
The minimum group size is 20 participants and the maximum is 30. The price is €5 per participant; for 20 participants, the tour costs €100. Select the number of participants in your order to see the corresponding total price.
You can pay by bank transfer or choose invoice payment and, for example, pay by card in the shop during the tour.
